Latest finds

Thrifting, to me, is almost therapeutic.  The process of sifting through clothes, touching the fabrics, and placing the colors to a season or a store is a calming treat I indulge in all too often.  When I am "in the zone" I can scan the clothes with my eyes & silently recognize what design tier a garment belongs to.  I can cruise through a store, assessing every women's item, in under an hour.  I normally find a handful of goodies.  Some goodies fit into my personal closet, some goodies are placed in an "Ebay" pile.  Both destinations have become crowded lately (I also work at J. Crew- a dangerous store to get a fantastic discount at).  This blog is meant to serve two purposes.
 1. to show the world what kind of outfits can be put together for under $50.
 2. to display some of my finds destined for Ebay.

The following are my latest finds destined for Ebay  I found most of them at a store called "Dig & Save" here in Madison, where the clothes are between 50 cents- 1 dollar per pound depending on the day.  The rest are from Goodwill:

Check out the J Crew version of this coat:

Finding a look-alike at 90-95% cheaper than the boutique price is really exciting.  And since the coat is still wool (American Eagle tends to do their outerwear well) it doesn't just LOOK cozy.
approximately $3.99. Four panels of vintage draperies.
